Dovestone Reservoir

Today we did an awesome 8 miles hike passing reservoirs, wild swimming spots and waterfalls with some easy scrambling and lots of beautiful views. With less than 30minutes drive from Manchester this is a must for anyone who loves outdoors.

There is a path to go up to the Holme Clough Waterfall, or if you are anything like me and love scrambling, you can totally scramble all the way up. The waterfall also provides with sever spots for wild swimming.

It was a fairly easy hike, took us just under 3 hours and it’s about 8 miles long.
