No matter how many times I visit this place, I always have loads of fun! No two adventures are the same – every trip throws up new scenery and fresh experiences.

This beautiful spot is only a 45-minute drive from Manchester πŸ‘ŒπŸ» The Blackstone Edge offers a rocky 1,549ft summit, and a road that was once thought to date back to Roman times. There is also some good old gritstone rock for those who love bouldering. As a bonus, you get to see some wonderful views over Manchester and Yorkshire.

I always start my walk from the car park near Blackstone Edge Reservoir. From here, I usually take the Pennine Way and follow it to the summit. There are several different walks available that you can find online.
